Join us for a spectacular week in the "City of Light"... whether it is your first or fifteenth visit, there’s so much to see and enjoy in Paris!

 

For six nights we’ll stay in Paris's Saint-Germain district on the Left Bank, close to major landmarks, shopping, restaurants and famous sidewalk cafes. You have a choice of personally selected boutique hotels to stay -- charming boutique hotel or premiere signature/luxury hotel. 

 

We'll take tours with local historian guides to see Paris's world-renowned art museums and famous landmarks.

We'll take a tour of The Louvre, the world's most famed art museum, to see Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa painting, and Venus de Milo and Winged Victory of Samothrace sculptures.... and take a tour Musée d'Orsay, the former Beaux-Arts railway station, now home of French impressionist and post-impressionist masterpieces by Bousin, Boudin, Cézanne, Degas,   Gauguin, Manet, Monet, Pissarro, Renior, Seurat, Sisley, Toulouse-Lautrec and Van Gogh.

With our local historian guide we'll visit Notre-Dame Cathedral, the specatulcular medieval French Gothic cathedral set along The Seine, and we'll visit Sainte-Chapelle with its stunning stained glass windows.

We'll see the Eiffel Tower... Arc de Triomphe... Champs-Élysées... Place de Concorde... The Opera... Tuileries Garden... Jardin du Luxembourg... Les Invalides... Latin Quarter... Saint Germain District... The Seine and Isle de Saint Louis.

We'll take a day trip to the Palace of Versailles, Europe's most grand palace and the former home of King Louis XIV and Marie Antoinette. The palace is one of the most beautiful achievements in 18th century art and a UNESCO World Heritage site. We'll have a private tour with a local historian guide.

 

​​Afternoons are free for exploring, shopping and relaxing in Paris on your own... to visit other prominent Paris musuems -- Musée Picasso, Musée Rodin or Centre George Pompidou... see Sacré-Cœur Basilica and the Montmartre Artist District... tour Les Invalides, home of France's military museum and tomb of Napoleon Bonaparte… visit Rue Cler Street Market, Père Lachaise Cemetery, Louis Vuitton Foundation or Promenade Plantée... shop in Paris's fashion flagship stores along Rue Saint-Honoré or visit the grand department stores: Galeries Lafayette, Printemps, and Le Bon March... browse through Paris's boutiques, antiques shops and specialty food stores... relax in Jardin du Luxembourg or have an aperitif at an outdoor cafe along Boulevard Saint-Germain.

One evening we'll take a river cruise on The Seine to view the "City of Light" at night traveling past Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Eiffel Tower, and Pont Neuf... one afternoon we'll have a French wine tasting session with a local expert.

 

You'll have a ticket to ride on an hop-on hop-off open-air double-decker bus to relax and view Paris sites unobstructed.

 

We'll have a farewell dinner with traditional French cuisine and wines.
