​The Camino de Santiago is a long-distance pilgrimage trail with a legendary history and sacred roots. The ancient network of medieval paths lead to the tomb of Saint James in the Cathedral of Santiago in Northern Spain. At the heart of this historic path you’ll find a rich cultural heritage, beautiful landscapes, and charming villages that welcome people from all walks of life.

Our pilgrimage will begin from Porto, Portugal

​

• Walk to Santiago via the Wild Atlantic Coastline of Portugal and the beauty of Spain's Galicia region.

• Enjoy a quieter Camino experience away from the crowds.

• Explore the medieval towns of Baiona, Pontevedra and Padron.

• Enjoy the incredible camaraderie with other pilgrimage walkers from all over the world... building friendships and bonds with fellow pilgrims along the way.

• Stay in hotels & guest houses with en-suite bathrooms.​

• Daily luggage transported from hotel to hotel for you.

• Evenings... ​walking along the coast we'll get to enjoy wonderful fresh seafood dinners including varieties of cod dishes, oysters, Albarino wine and ruby port.

We'll take the most popular and the most interesting and quieter variation of the main Camino Portugues central route, the Portugues Coastal Way or Caminho da Costa, that runs from Porto to Santiago following the Wild Atlantic Coastline of Northern Portugal and Spain's Galicia Region.

 

Starting in the vibrant UNESCO heritage city of Porto, we'll head straight to the coast and walk through seaside towns and fishing villages, past river estuaries and sandy beaches. We'll visit one of the most beautiful and best-preserved historical centers of Portugal in Viana do Castelo before reaching the natural border of Spain and Portugal and the River Miño.

 

We'll continue through historic medieval towns of Baiona, Pontevedra and Padron... cross beautiful Romanesque bridges and dine on some of Galicia’s gastronomic delights. Finally, meet up with the main Camino Portugues route before arriving at the wonderful city of Santiago where all pilgrims come together.

In Santiago we'll be able to ​attend the 12:00 Noon Pilgrims Mass at the Cathedral
