We'll be based for five nights in majestic and sophisticated San Sebastian where we'll explore the Basque Country and Spain's northern coast along the Atlantic Ocean... we'll take day trips to visit Bilbao and tour the futuristic Frank Gehry–designed Guggenheim Museum Bilbao and visit the seaside village of Getaria to have lunch and tour Spanish fashion designer's  Cristóbal Balenciaga Museum... we'll travel to the Rioja wine country region where we'll have a tasting sesson and lunch at Marqués de Riscal hotel, Rioja's most luxurious hotel designed by Frank Gehry...  and we'll visit the Basque countryside, tour a cheese factory and have a regional cuisine country lunch.

We'll have lunch at a private San Sebastian gastronomic club. and take a Basque cuisine cooking class with a celebrated local chef.

We'll journey on an evening pixios safari in Parte Vieja, San Sebastian's old town, sampling an assortment of tasty Spanish appetizers, wines and cavas.

On your owned dinners will be arranged for guests at San Sebastian's famed Michelin-starred restaurants for those desiring to experience San Sebastian's world-renowned gourmet cuisine... and/or guests can join group dinners at specially-selected restaurants.

 

There will be free time for strolling along San Sebastian's La Concha Beach, personal sightseeing, shopping, relaxing and soaking in San Sebastian's sunshine and ambiance.

Optional before breakfast group pleasure walks through San Sebastian's historic city center and along La Concha promenade are organized for travelers who want some morning exercise before starting their vacation day.
